1980~1984年:東北大學材料系金屬材料專業(yè),本科生。
1984~1987年:東北大學研究生院,碩士研究生
1987:大連交通大學材料科學與工程學院工作。
1997~2000年:中國科學院金屬研究所,博士研究生。
2005年:任軌道交通關鍵材料研究所所長和遼寧省軌道交通關鍵材料重點實驗室主任。
2010年:任材料科學與工程學院院長、校理化分析測試中心主任

2002~2003:北京語言大學,學習德語。
2003~2004年:德國馬普學會金屬研究所,訪問學者。
